FAMOUS DAVE'S & JOE'S CRAB SHACK

Another day.........Miles had school & a few hours of "me" time @ the Boys & Girls Club-he likes to play dodgeball and basketball with his friends there.



I got off work @ 4am so I slept a little-Melissa worked-she had to get her plant ready for OSHA,EPA and GM inspections this week before she goes on 2 weeks VACATION-we are very excited.



Well since Ive been working as the night Dry Cleaner @Melissa's plant Ive found a few strange items people leave in the pockets of their clothes. Always a condom, a matchbook, some change, napkins & toothpicks and even the occasional Greenback but being here in Las Vegas we tend to find alot of Poker Chips and guess what I found???



Not your everyday 10 or $20 chip this was a $500 Buy-In Chip for the World Series of Poker @ the Rio---The Only way you can get one is by winning a satellite poker tournament at another casino like Caesars. The Chip can be used at any casino for any game in the tournament. My first thought was to go play and see if I could bring home some big $$$$..But then I thought I'd better just take the $$$--Since the Chip has NO CASH VALUE if you try to redeem it -I posted it on craigslist for $300 and in 10 minutes I got an email offering me $250!!!!!!!!!
WHAT A DAY!!!! Then I got a call from work that I had the night off so I decided to order us some take-out...
Since MOST good places to eat don't do delivery --Delivery services have popped up to cater to people who wanna eat good food. So I called the delivery service and told them I was gonna order from 2 different places but they are in the same shopping center--he said-no problemo senor--and I called Famous Dave's BBQ & ordered Beef Brisket & Chooped smoked pork w/coleslaw,wilbur beans,green beans,corn on the cob,cornbread and grandmas drunkin apples(a lil amaretto & cinnamon)--that was for me & miles..Melissa was up for some CRAB & Joe's Crab Shack is right next door so I ordered the Crab Feast w/3 kinds(dungeness,snow & king) plus roasted potatoes & corn on the cob(extra butter)----When Melissa got home the delivery man was following her up the stairs with DINNER.

JUST IN...........Miles begged me to check the mail becuase he says its his birthday and somebody always sends him a card so we checked the mail and sure enough he got a Birthday card...He was so excited we never made it out of the mailroom......THANKS GRANDMA!!!! It so cool that he can now READ the card...Of course he wanted to hop in the car & go spend his $$$ -RIGHT NOW but I told him we have to wait until AFTER school-so Im sure he will have a few ideas when I pick him up--lately he has really been into his video games, clothes and nerf & water guns....
