WELL WHEN MELISSA ARRIVED AT WORK SATURDAY MORNING SHE NOTICED THE STORE HAD BEEN ROBBED(AN INSIDE JOB) SO SHE HAD TO CALL THE POLICE AND MGMT TO FILE THE REPORT AND GET NEW KEYS,CODES AND A SAFE. SHE WAS PRETTY SHOOK-UP SO WE WAITED AWHILE BEFORE HEADING OUT TO THE EVENT.
THE BITE OF LAS VEGAS IS THE LARGEST FOOD & MUSIC FESTIVAL IN NEVADA WITH 50 FOOD VENDORS SERVING $1-$5 PORTIONS FROM SOME OF THE MOST POPULAR EATERIES IN LAS VEGAS. PLUS MUSIC FROM LOCAL BANDS AND MAJOR HEADLINERS LIKE LIFEHOUSE, METRO STATION & PUDDLE OF MUDD THIS YEAR. THERE WAS 20,000-30,000 PEOPLE ATTENDING, PARKING WAS A NIGHTMARE. WE VISITED ALL THE SPONSOR BOOTHES FOR FREE GOODIES AND OF COURSE WE ATE TIL WE COULD EAT NO MORE. THE FOOD WAS GREAT, THE MUSIC WAS GREAT AND OF COURSE THERE WAS PLENTY OF STUFF TO DO LIKE WATCHING THE INSTRUCTIONAL CHEFS COOK, VISITING THE FACE PAINTING BOOTH AND KIDS IN THE KITCHEN WAS TEACHING THE YOUNGSTERS ABOUT HEALTHY EATING AND CREATIVE COOKING.
