DAVIS IN LAS VEGAS

well its been a week since my last blog and alot has happened

Miles had another successful week of school-only 5 left before summer break and his 7th birthday
He really wants to go to Disneyland & Magic Mountain so were planning a 3 day trip to the park
This week I went to work for Melissa as her Dry Cleaner-shes been looking to fill the spot and since I was available we are making it work. I work afternoons she works all day

Friday night we went out to eat as always-we went to the Red Rock Casino where they have a Kids Quest area you can leave your kids at while you go to a concert , a movie, gamble or dine

Its a little pricy-like $8 an hour but it has tons of games and playthings and Miles never wants to leave http://www.kidsquest.com/video.php

they have a kids cafe so he can order what he wants when he wants and they make sure its dinner before junk

Well once the boy was in his own wonderland we evntured to the Cabo Mexican restaraunt where we could have a drink and watch the Lakers/Jazz game

They always start you off with a huge bowl of HOT torilla chips , 4 different salsas & bean dip

I ordered a Mojito & Melissa had some Ice Tea-We ordered an appetizer of Chicken Torilla Soup & then I had Carne Asada Fajitas & Melissa had a Comco platter with Enchiladas, Tamale & Taco

After dinner we decided to gamble $20 each since earlier in the day we received a $900 deposit from the Federal Govt in our checking acct.

It was extremely packed with the big giveaway they are having so I went to a quieter area to spend my $20 Melissa chose to play Video Poker and Keno on 5 cent machines-I went for the gusto and played "Mega BUcks" its a $1 progressive machine that was at $10,000,000+ jackpot. It usually pays at $20 million+ a couple times a year-its a progressive jackpot linked to all the same machine around the state(our lottery). Well it costs $3 per pull to play MAX coins & win it all so my practice has been to put $21 in for 7 pulls-I win I win, I lose I lose,

Well I put in my $21-did my 7 spins-no luck-I forgot I had a tickewt in my pocket for $4.25 so I put it in(they give you vouchers now-no more cash/coin payouts)

well i got lucky i put in my $4 voucher gave it a spin and hit for $1500!!!!!!!

I was so excited I cashed out and went to find the woman

she was still paying her $20 on Keno & wanted to play it out. I could hardly contain myself

Well Saturday was another night out

Miles & I went clothes shopping for summer in the morning-we hit the mall-went to target & wal mart then we went to a Kids Carnival we had gotten a flyer for at the san gennaro feast

it was just 4 jump houses & an inflatable slide, clowns doing balloons & face painting plus a dunk tank & a few kids midway games(ducks,and some other one I hadnt seen before)

well it was 107 here Saturday so we decided to head home & shower off so we could take Melissa out for dinner after she got off work

We deciced to go to the Palms and see if we could find a place to eat & take Miles to a movie or something.

They were having some playboy party with fake boob bimbos running everywhere so we got Miles out of there
After that I wanted to go to Hooters & the Dan Marino Steakhouse but NO I had to go to the Orleans and TGI Fridays-dont get me wrong I love the food but the HELP!#@!@#$%^

JUST as I had anticipated the waiter was a Cocky Dipshit-He came over to inform us that couldnt help us right away but would be there soon-We ordered drinks & some Fried Mac & Chz appetizer-which of course he didnt write down because he had a SUPER memory

Well instead of rehashing it lets say the guy didnt remember $@#*&%^

We didnt get what we ordered -which in my world means we didnt pay because Melissa of course enjoy giving what she gets-she ran down the manager & made her feelings know-they expressed their apologies & COMPed our meal.

Since the night was still young we decided to do some more shopping for summer clothes

Today is Sunday with nothing on the agenda except NBA game 7 Cleveland vs. Boston
