DAVIS IN LAS VEGAS

lets fast forward to 2001-June 23rd my son Miles was born @ Sunrise hospital in Las Vegas

Miles grandma-Geraldine passed when he was only 2 so he never got to know Melissa's parents but in 2002 late fall we packed up the family and moved to Winfield Iowa where we stayed for 2 years letting Miles meet his granparents aunt & uncle & cousins before moving back to Las Vegas.

AND THIS brings us to today

we live in the ever growing city of SIN

its really like anywhere else everyone works all week we just have more places to PLAY on the weekends

We tend to stick to HOME entertainment since we hate the traffic & people & well everything about going out in public

Actually we go out a few times a week to eat or go bowling or watch a movie we just stay away from the STRIP-too many tourists-plus we dont gamble

Miles is like any other 6 year old-he doesnt like scholl-he wants to ride his bike or scotter with his friends-play video games -football-baseball or go huting for lizards in the mountains-he likes to go hiking up mountains

He still sucks his thumb-no breaking him of that-regardless of our tireless efforts

He sometimes talks like a sailor-especially after a night of HBO

BUT for the MOST part hes a real sweetheart of a kid-He's excited about turning 7 and going on Summer break-He wants to go to Disney Land

He says he has already outgrown the rides at the Adventuredome Circus Circus-even though this year is the first he's been tall enough to ride the REAL Adult rides.

Melissa's cousin is an employee of Disney so we get FREE park passes-YEAH!!!!!

We like so many other families just do it day by day week by week-we have no plans -we live EACH day to the FULLEST.

We miss our friends and family and we think about them often-we tend to check up on them through their BLOGS.

The weather here is delightful-its 80 and sunny with just a breeze

If it werent for the NBA playoffs we'd be OUT doing something-BUT instead we shall CLEAN the house and lay around recharging our batteries for another week of WORK.
