DAVIS IN LAS VEGAS

Sunday was great. Football from the minute I woke up until I'm ready for bed.

And boy were there some great games. Very unexpected ones like Denver vs. Oakland going to overtime & Denver winning for the 2nd week in a row with a game winning field goal, or how about the shoot-out in OHIO-Cinncinnati vs WHO? the Cleveland Browns? and Yes the no offense Browns creamed the Bengals both QB's getting 5 or more TD's-My 49ers won a close one again-my man Frank Gore getting the job done. And the Sunday Night game everyone had been waiting for New England (the cheaters) vs. San Diego Chargers with the MVP LT. Well guess what New England made San Diego look like the Cleveland Browns. The kicked their butts and bad. I guess they wanted to get a message across, the game is played between the lines.

Well enough football. I just get excited. While I was watching the game Miles played with his friend Juan, they rode scooters and played Ben 10 action figures , I guess the new Ben 10 movie is coming out soon. They were in & out all day grabbing snacks & drinks and getting out of the 100 degree heat.

I never got out of my seat but for the occasional bathroom break, I put a pot roast in the crock at 10 and it was ready for us to eat by 4 in between games.

Other than football, nothing happens on Sundays, we use this as a day to recharge our batteries, we all go to bed early, Miles at about 9-which is early here since the sun is still up. I try to hit the sack by Midnite.

All my favorite shows on TV are ending-season finale time-Psych on USA is over til January, The 4400 is too, Rescue Me is ending this week. I get TV guide delivered so I have some bathroom material and I'm not real impressed with the new stuff going our way-like the cavemen-or this reality show with the kids, or forgive me-another frazier crane show-he may kill patricia heaton's career too. I mean he has been playing Frazier since Cheers

I'm ready for Lost-Heroes(a week from Monday) and of course Jericho

But you always have to find something new-it's a very fickle thing.

We used to be a Nielsen house-they came and hard-wired a box to all of our stuff-tv,cable box,video game system,dvd player, tape player, and the phone. They paid us like 50 dollars per device and then 2 a month(a check for 12 every 6 months)

We didn't have to do anything but watch our normal stuff, the box was hidden behind the entertainment center-but when i decided to upgrade to the DVR cable box-they wouldn't come out and unhook their stuff so I could change cable boxes-so I unhooked it all tossed it and called them.

I would never recommend it to anyone-it felt very "Big Brother"

Thanks for the comments-I'm pretty settled on my blog now-just the horoscope,buddha,confucios and my pics-I may do alittle somthing poll-wise with football and stuff but I just wanted to play around and see what I could do, but it was becoming too time consuming.
